Funny sitting here making a travel packing list and wondering how I am going to pack all of my favorite shoes, outfits and bathing suites and staying under 44lb!!! I have to come to grips of leaving some of my dear little favorites at home. As much as I love to travel this is not my favorite part, I have been procrastinating this packing event all day. So I figured if I write about packing maybe it would give me some energy to actually get on to doing it.Now I know why I love to travel to warm weather areas , so much easier to pack a couple sundresses , bathing suits and great tropical smelling shampoo.
The adventure to the Galapagos gets a little more complicated for the packing because of our stop in Quito , it is cold, like 48 degrees and there will be chill in the air during the evening on the boat, packing may not be complicated for those who like the granola look or can wear the same outfit over and over but if you know me I could never wear those birkenstock shoes and flowery peasant dresses for weeks or even a day, actually I dont even own any of it.It would be so much easier if I could just purchase something new for every day, but I guess I will have to throw my self into my closet and start digging. It will take some skills to find clothes in my closet that actually cover up or some what conceal my 34 D's which will be another task because almost everything I own enhances my girls, but I don't want to bring to much attention to that area so that I blend in the crowd and avoid getting mugged while we are in Quito! This is when i wish i had a fairy god mother that would just show up with her wand and poof i was packed and looking like everything was matching , pressed and just out of a catalog , no such luck.Well I feel better now so here I go. My photo's will tell all.
Wish I had the 34D problem. I love the Birkenstock flowery peasant look and feel. Think I may resort to wearing same thing over and over. As long as I don't stink. Packing is such a challenge!
